Creating a New Outputs Menu Item

You can create a NEW menu item that is specific to a new Outline Tab that you’ve created.  For example, let’s say you’ve created an Outline Tab containing a named range called “DocContentProposal”.  You might create an Outputs menu item called “Generate proposal”.  To do so…
 
  1. Open filename outputs.xlsx in your c:\PQuote\Data folder 
  1. Copy the “Generate RFP response” row to another row 
  1. Modify the data in the following columns… 
    • Update the Menu/Button Caption column to the name of the output as you wish it to appear on the Outputs menu (in our example, “Generate proposal”) 
    • Update the Output Info column to the File Type that you wish to associate with the output (in our example, “Proposal”; see the File Types help section for further details) 
    • Update the Output Parameter column with the name of the named range in Excel (“DocContentProposal” in our example)
