File Auto-Saving Settings (Dashboard)
Administrator Help Topic
Administrators can manage File Auto-Saving from the Dashboard. This function makes it easy to set up the shared file location where all files associated with your opportunities and quotes are auto-named and auto-saved to SharePoint Online, a network drive, or to the cloud (hosted by CorsPro using Amazon Web Services).
Note: You can enable more than one file auto-saving approach. However, users will then be prompted every time they first save a Quote File or RFP response document, so we do not recommend setting up more than one auto-saving approach.
- Administrators can manage account settings by clicking on their name in the top right of the View and selecting Admin, then clicking Account Settings in the left-hand panel.
- Go to the File Auto-Saving section and…
- If you are using a network drive, enter the Core Network Path (see the Core network path help topic for more information)
- If you are using SharePoint Online, enter the SharePoint Site Collection URL (see the Auto-Saving Files to SharePoint help topic for more information)
- If you wish for users to initially browse for where to save files in SharePoint, enter your core SharePoint URL, ending with “sharepoint.com”.
- If you want to auto-create subsites for new opportunities, enter the site collection URL, which should have the following syntax: https://[YourCompanySharePointDomain].
sharepoint.com/sites/[YourSiteCollectionSubsite]
- If you would like to turn on or turn off file hosting in the cloud by CorsPro (using Amazon Web Services), please contact support@corspro.com.
Note: You can enable more than one file auto-saving approach. However, users will then be prompted every time they first save a Quote File or RFP response document, so we do not recommend setting up more than one auto-saving approach.
