Styles are a function of Microsoft and are used throughout the RFP Response Builder software.  In Word, Styles are used to quickly apply a set of formatting choices consistently throughout your document. In Excel, they are also used to apply a set formatting to the cells in your worksheet but they also include settings to protect/unprotect cells.  

Understanding Styles will help you understand how formatting works in RFP Response Builder and will allow you to create nicer and more professional-looking documents.
